My double chin came out to play on Sunday, it's a gift that keeps on giving, even if you don't want it. 🤣
We went impromptu hiking on a sunny cool day on one of the many trails near our #southerncalifornia home and my Hubby snapped this picture. I hope when baby girl is old enough to be critical of me and her childhood, this photo makes her smile. #mommydaughter #munamommy

My muse (aka my daughter) hates pictures but she's breathtaking on film. She's an artist and and introvert. She's a thoughtful story teller and highly critical of herself. Raising a child is a real mind eff because their tiny, shiny and brand new while being so complex. I'm tasked with honoring her authentic self while guiding her through this journey to womanhood. I see real power in her, I hope she grows to see it too! ⚪️⚪️ ⚪️⚪️ (I love this picture though I would prefer her little tummy not showing, she's very particular about this, she's a one piece bathing suit baby)
I have so many goals, so many things I want to do. I'm starting with some simple smaller ones, a special project for my natural hair/living blog and looking for a vendor for a few shirts I've designed for the kids and folks want to buy from me. But hoping to plan and execute something larger (I'm not yet able to mention) next year. Also helping a few friends refine their businesses and brand, since I have a knack for that type of consulting. I'm trying to take it one step at a time and doing something that does not come natural to me: minimizing the multi-tasking and making room to be present and still with the ones I love. #raisingself #jkinstachallenge
